Judi Keenholtz, president of Empire Realty Associates, was named the East Bay Business Times’ 2003 Woman of Distinction in real estate. Keenholtz, who in the ‘90s led Pacific Union to dominate the Contra Costa real estate market, jumped back into the local business scene when she and 23 entrepreneurial agent-partners launched Empire Realty Associates in September of 2002. Immediately making a stunning impression on the local market, the company has grown to 43 associates and will complete $400 million in real estate transactions and $100 million in loan funding during the first year in business.
